We love beer...and soccer. We think they go together like popcorn and the movies. Naturally, when we were tasked to create a rallying cry to get Namibians to support the Brave Warriors, our national soccer team at AFCON, we gave a big cheer, opened some Tafel Lagers and got the creative juices flowing.
For a brand that strives to bring Namibians together, there is a definite need to deeper entrench Tafel Lager as the brand that is not only relevant to them but also to be a brand that understands what matters to them. When you think soccer, you need to think Tafel Lager. We were going to create a thirst for the sport and quench that thirst with all the AFCON and Brave Warriors news and updates – all via WhatsApp, USSD and social media.
